Celebrating Holy Week Together...At Home
For our celebrations of Holy week you are invited to celebrate with us the passion and the resurrection of Christ.
Here are some guidelines that you can use:
- For the celebration of Holy Thursday , put a candle or a lamp by your window tonight from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- For Good Friday, the Lenten church cross will be put outside of our church from 12:00 noon to 3 p.m.. At home you can use a crucifix for the veneration and as a sign of faith put a cross in your window.
- For Holy Saturday, place a candle or lamp in your window during the evening and say the rosary (suffering Mysteries) as a family or alone.
- For Easter Sunday if you can watch the streamed mass, have your bells ready to ring during the singing of the Gloria, suggestion: why not ring them outside on your balcony or open your windows so people can hear.
